Congruent figures
Congruent:two or more figures have the exact shape and size.
These shapes are congruent, both have the same shape and size.
You can also have a congruent line segment. It just has to have the same size.
____________________ ____________________ These line segments are congruent because they have the same length.
Congruent shapes are not always going to be the same way. Like these shapes right here. They are rotated different ways but they are still congruent because they have the same shape and size.
Congruent angles just have to have the same angle measurement since angles are enver ending.
Angles
The lengths of the angles do not have to be the same, but just the measure of the angles have to be the same.
Congruent figures are always the same length, height, and width.
Non-congruent figures are figures that do not have the same length, height, and width. Just because they have the same shape does not mean it is congruent. It is similar shpes.
As you can see they are both the same shape but not the size.
These are some non-congurent figures.

A good page. You should copy your text into a program like Word that will help you to check the spelling and grammar. Fix the spelling and grammar, then copy the text back to your page.
