NUMBER LINES
What are NUMBER LINES?
A NUMBER LINE is a line that goes
on forever, a NUMBER LINE may
have two sides, one for negative
numbers and one for positive
numbers. Also a NUMBER LINE
does not have to have a zero.
WHAT DOES A NUMBERLINE NEED?
- A line with two arrows at the end
- The numbers that you need
- Something useful to count by
- An even space in between the numbers
This number line right here on the left side
has something useful to count by and as you can see the spaces are
also even.
In some cases a number line could have a line going straight accross
and a line going up and down. Also, remember that a number line
does not need a zero. If you are graphing positive and negative
numbers do not insert a zero if you don't need it.
Graphing inequalities have to do with graphs too. If the sign of the
inequality is greater than or equal to, you would put a closed dot on
the number line and point to the right side with an arrow.
Like this:
If you graph an inequality that reads that a number is less than zero
your number line would look like this:

You should double space some parts of your page, like the first paragraph. The words sometimes overlap, so some of the letters are cut off. You should also show examples of how to graph a number on a number line.

hi.. if you don't want the number lines to have the white stuff around it, you could use print scrn and change it on paint, but make sure to save the picture..then go to edit you page and insert image.... i like the big font.

More information would be nice. Your formatting makes the page hard to read. Why do you keep changing background colors?
